This week took me to the Buckinghamshire Museum in Aylesbury which is hosting the 2016 BIPP Photography exhibition. One of my images from the series Animal Beings which was part of last years Gold award collection is being displayed amongst an extensive collection of work from BIPP members. This collection has been beautifully curated and from all genres of the photographic world. As well as being an honour to be included in the exhibition, it was more humbling to see the standard of work on display from some fantastic young photographers and others who have been in the industry a while but who still push themselves to create current and some thought provoking work.
Kinga Kocimska, a young Edinburgh based graduate, particularly caught my eye and caused discussion between me and my daughters with her Dementia collection. Emily Hancocks beautiful equine fine art was also added to my wish list.
Most of the exhibition pieces are are for sale but if you can make it just to take a look then please do – I believe the exhibition is running here until March and then will be touring in various locations.
More of my current exhibition work can be viewed and purchased online here.
